I was reading Karls blog earlier today and he was talking about how to not be "Interrupt Driven" and it got me thinking about how we work and yes we are very much dominated by our helpfulness.
So how do we get out of this hole we have dug with our own best intentions?
- With policy
- With education
- With great relationship skills (OK we are hosed)
- AND with a commitment to document our work flow and guess where we are doing that?

Before going live with a Network Solution for a customer I can't say clearly enough, get a help desk solution in place. It was 5 Years before we did it and I'm sure that we have lost about a year in billable's due to untracked works.

We are users of Shockey Monkey and are happy to say it is really developing into our main tool for managing client requests in Synergistic Network Solutions as the product extends in capability I'm sure we will grow some of our offerings into areas we may not have considered.
